The authentic replica of the classic vehicle is composed of 1,470 pieces and measures 13 inches long. LEGO made sure to fully replicate the ’60s Mustang as well by working with Ford to create optional add-ons for customization, including a selection of license plates, supercharger, rear ducktail spoiler, beefy exhaust pipes, front chin spoiler and a nitrous oxide tank.
In terms of its design, the car flaunts a dark-blue bodywork with white racing stripes, bonnet scoop, printed mustang grille badge, GT emblems and 5-spoke rims with tires. In addition, the car bears functional features with attention to detail like the ability to adjust the lift of the rear axle, a removable roof panel, openable doors for a glimpse of the detailed interior or store items in the trunk, while even lifting the hood to reveal its large V8 engine with a battery, hoses and air filter.
You can build and customize your own 1960s Ford Mustang beginning March 1 for $150.
