Ingenious programmer Jannis Hermanns has created a tiny LEGO version of the Macintosh Classic computer that uses Raspberry Pi and an e-ink display to make it function.

The remake of the 1990 classic, which Hermanns says he was inspired to make after playing with LEGO with his son, uses a minimalist operating system called Docker. Docker can display images and run small programs like a clock — a far cry away from the original's capabilities, but still pretty cool.

Hermanns created the mini Mac as gift for a friend, but luckily, you can have one of your own because the creator has detailed how he built it. You can check out the instructions for making your own right here.
