Editor’s Notes: As part of its FW18 collection, Levi’s Made & Crafted has joined forces with United Arrows & Sons creative director Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi on a standout capsule that binds together streetwear, high-fashion, and vintage American workwear influences.

The collection draws on Poggy’s love of traditional workwear and is inspired by legendary film stars Steve McQueen and James Dean. Celebrating the enduring popularity of vintage clothing in Japan, Poggy found examples of WWII-era workwear from the Levi’s archives in San Francisco to add creative fuel to this collection, which consists of chore coats, overalls, hats, and button-up shirts.

Along with the key pieces noted above, Poggy’s personal favorite standout is the “Steve McQueen” pant, which has been enhanced with a brand new, slightly tapered fit and no yoke on the back. Each of the silhouettes is made in Japan and incorporates a classic Levi’s leather tag, as well as bright gold hardware to commemorate the enduring value of vintage.

With prices ranging from $48 to $398, you can purchase the entire collection at select Levi’s stores, United Arrows, and online starting July 26.
