4K is supposed to be top of the line when it comes to displays, but LG is clearly not one to rest on its laurels. The Korean manufacturer has been busy pushing its OLED technology to the limits, namely with 8K, and now it's unveiled a gigantic 88-inch display.

The 88-inch behemoth is both the largest and the highest-resolution OLED panel display to date, smashing the previous largest OLED screen size of 77 inches (and that one “only” came in 4K).

The size and resolution of the display are all we have to go off of right now, however, LG may be ready to divulge more information at CES 2018 later this month.

In other news, recreational marijuana is now legal in California.
