Editor’s Notes:  Li-Ning is set to drop three new colorways of the 2020 Ace model in wheat, slate, and blue. The color way is more subdued than drop 1 and features a more earthy tone than ever before. Blue and slate are both inspired by water, whereas, wheat features a monochromatic sandy finish.

The design also features a layered pattern that resembles in an external flame, the main symbolism behind the design. This concept of an "external flame" is seen throughout many of the design details including the placement of the phrase "No Use" in the middle of a fire extinguisher icon on the shoe’s tongue. The "Reburn" leather patch found on the sneaker’s sole is another nod to a fire that continues on and on, with no end. "Reburn" appears once more on the 2020 Ace’s ankle tab where it is said to mean "Never Give Up".

The Li-Ning 2020 Ace "Wheat" is available through, while the "Slate" and "Blue" options are on sale at END Clothing for £225 (approximately $250). Check out the "Blue", "Slate" & Wheat" colorways in the gallery above.
