At the SXSW premiere of the Lil Peep documentary Everybody’s Everything, the filmmakers revealed that Lil Peep was about to be cast for his very first movie role.

Speaking to Variety, the co-director of the documentary Sebastian Jones revealed what would have been next for Peep.

“Three days before he passed. I was at one of his shows, and I was so taken by him … I wanted to cast him in a movie,” he said. “We were reaching out to him and he passed away.”

Ramez Silyan, Lil Peep’s collaborator and the co-director of the Everybody’s Everything explained that the artist had always wanted to work in film. “Gus wanted to be an actor and he had ‘it.’ He just had this thing … he wanted to do all sorts of things,” Silyan said.
