Chicago’s DooWop, member of Chief Keef‘s Glo Gang, is gearing up to release his debut album Cappin Ain’t Dead this week. In preparation for the album the rapper dropped a celebratory track “Cap Flow” featuring Lil Uzi Vert. In the song the rappers lay down boastful verses over a Chief Keef-produced trap beat. Listen to it below.

The single and the project’s title is a tribute to DooWop’s brother Capo who was shot dead in a drive-by in Chicago in 2015. DooWop and Lil Uzi flow mercilessly on the track. The second verse sees the rappers pass the rapid-fire rhyme back and forth. “We keep getting money, this shit ain’t new to us,” DooWop raps. “I got the drugs with the bougie cut,” Lil Uzi continues.

This is a rare verse from Lil Uzi Vert, as we await the Eternal Atake album.

Cappin Ain’t Dead is set to release on July 19 via Cleopatra Records.

On this week’s episode of The Dropcast, we are joined by certified organic style god Danny Bowien, founder of Mission Chinese. The celeb chef breaks down the similarities between running a restaurant and running a clothing brand, and even offers some solid business advice any entrepreneur can learn from.
