In promotion of his Luv Is Rage 2 album release, Lil Uzi Vert recently paid a visit to Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show. During the interview, Uzi dished on his musical inspirations, which largely pull from the rock genre.

Specifically, the 23-year-old entertainer cites Paramore’s Hayley Williams as his biggest influence. “She’s like the best,” he insisted. “It’s hard to top that. She’s like the best, just of my generation… There’s nobody bro.”

To date, Uzi has yet to meet his idol, but he does however plan on making a rock album with an “”all-chicks” band sometime moving forward. Maybe Hayley will oblige and lend a hand.

In addition to Williams, the “XO Tour Llif3” rapper has long since expressed his admiration for Marilyn Manson as well, who has also largely influenced his career.

Nonetheless, to hear Uzi dishing on Hayley Williams, Luv Is Rage 2 and more, press play above.
