Nardwuar, the eccentric journalist behind hip-hop's weirdest interviews and the orchestrator of perhaps the most awkward Lil Uzi Vert moments, has struck again. This time Nardwuar staked out Day N Vegas Music Festival to catch the rapper unawares for a surprise interview.

The last two times the pair crossed paths, Lil Uzi Vert literally ran away. This time, Nardwuar caught the rapper as his car pulled up and beckoned him over from behind a wire fence. When Uzi reluctantly came over for the impromptu interview, Nardwuar offered him up a vinyl copy of the Ying Yang Twins' Dangerous — no doubt a favorite of the young rapper, a fact that only Nardwuar would have known.

The short interview ended abruptly, with viewers speculating that the video cut off before the artist could be seen running away again. Watch the full awkward run-in above.
