Following on from last year’s Le Coq Sportif Éclat collaboration, Barcelona boutique LimitEDitions continue with the French vintage sportswear label by introducing the “Patachou." Honoring legendary leather suppliers Tanneries Roux, the shoes are crafted from premium waxed leather and feature a goat-leather lining to showcase the finest materials the country has to offer. The detailing across the upper pays tribute to the French textile art of bobbin lace-making with intricate stitching at the heel and the store's crest laser-cut into the toe box.
The sneaker's name, meanwhile, is inspired by the packaging of Tanneries Roux shoes in the 1950s, and you can expect the best even in terms of packaging as each pair is specially boxed to include wooden lasts and a care package featuring wax and a brush. The highly-exclusive “Patachou” collaboration will be released on September 11 in-store at LimitEDitions, with only 80 pairs in the drop. So while it may be near impossible to cop a pair, you can enjoy their beauty above.
