Football icon Lionel Messi is renting a $15 million private jet so he and his family can travel the world in complete luxury.
The Barcelona and Argentina forward is flying high in La Liga this season, scoring a hat-trick against Levante on Sunday to take his goal tally past 50 in 2018. But his new 16-seat private jet is equally as impressive.
The plane was customized for Messi by an Argentine company and, according to Goal, “includes a kitchen, two bathrooms, and 16 seats that can be folded to make eight beds.” It even has additional touches like a number 10 — his jersey number for Barça and the Argentine national team — on its tail, as well as the names of his wife Antonella and their children written on the boarding steps.
Messi is only renting the plane, but given he earns a reported $630,000 per week, he could probably buy it outright if he wished. Take a look inside the jet above.
