Royce Da 5’9″ has released a new, self-produced song titled “Field Negro,” in which he calls out Kanye West and Wale, as well as Tory Lanez, Tyga, Drake, and DJ Khaled.

Released yesterday, February 8, the political track is mostly condemning systemic racism in America, but the rapper also takes aim at some of his fellow artists, with lyrics like “I did it my way without all the complainin’ / And all the whinin’ all day like Kanye or Wale.”

He also disparages the fact that the “Only guys with the hits are the Tygas, Drakes and Khaleds,” stating that “Every artist in the game are phony” and comparing his own “grind” to JAY-Z’s.

Finally, Royce implores famous black people to come together, and references the Colin Kaepernick incident multiple times.

Give “Field Negro” a listen below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
