Magic Island is an artist whose work truly befits their moniker. The Berlin-based musician who makes "honest pop" crafts worlds that are instantly transportive, imbued with a vibe of sensory pleasure that is both delicate and pronounced. One need look no further than her new visual for "High Note" to get a taste of her lush sonic palette. Watch below.

Not one for subtlety, Magic Island expanded on the clear visual statement of the release in an email by stating "Well this song is obviously about sex ;) But I’d like for it to be more than that, an anthem for women to demand what they want / need / deserve and stand for nothing less. Especially when it comes to sex. When we recorded this, I was barely whispering - I think it’s the softest vocals I’ve ever sung."

"High Note" will appear on Magic Island's upcoming EP Warm Heaven, out everywhere on July 12. Pre-order it here.
