Following this month's release of their sixth studio album, Red Pill Blues, Maroon 5 recently linked up with Jimmy Fallon for a special Tonight Show segment. In shying away from the studio, frontman Adam Levine and guitarist James Valentine met up with Jimmy in a New York City subway to try their hand at busking.

Decked out in disguise, the trio then proceeded to unleash a cover of Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," which didn't really leave onlookers aware of who they were watching. But when Levine, Valentine and Fallon switched gears to perform Maroon 5's 2014 hit "Sugar," subway goers began to flock with cell phones in-hand.

To see how the surprise appearance went down, press play above, then revisit Red Pill Blues underneath.
