Maserati has now officially announced that it would be releasing its first electric car by 2020 and furthermore it explained that the car would look like its recently presented Alfieri concept. While being a competitor to the Porsche 911, it will be larger and is also competing with the likes of Bentley and Jaguar. The gasoline engine version of the car is supposed to hit the market in 2019 with the electric version to come just a year later. It will be interesting to see how the Maserati Alfieri stacks up against the Tesla S when it releases.
