New York City-based creative agency MATTE recently took its ongoing party series, BLACK, down to Mexico City. Set at the abandoned Hotel Reforma in the city's trendy Zona Rosa district, the one-night only affair was met with a bevy of high octane performances by some of the world's leading forces in electronic music, including Seth Troxler and Thugfucker, curated by Mexican label Sicario Music. Keeping with the party's multi-disciplinary efforts, the space also featured a smattering of striking visual art displays courtesy of influential art curator Ana Perez, who selected local talents Paolo Montiel, Pablo Davila and Aldo Chaparro to light up the night.
As one of the lucky few media outlets who were able to experience the event, we decided to do what we do best – fashion scout. Here are some of the best looks captured from BLACK's eclectic array of local and international attendees who flaunted their most sporty rave-ready ensembles to dance the night away.
