A brief video of Conor McGregor’s controversial sparring session with Paulie Malignaggi has surfaced ahead of the UFC superstar's boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather.

If you cast your mind back 10 days ago, McGregor's preparations were thrown into disarray after Malignaggi sensationally walked out on the camp. The former boxer claimed that released photos of him on the ground were inaccurate and that McGregor had toiled throughout most of the sparring sessions. To clear up the situation, Malignaggi demanded that McGregor's camp publish the full video.

That hasn't happened, but UFC owner Dana White has shared two clips on Instagram which don't exactly show Malignaggi in the best light. In the first piece of footage, McGregor can be seen delivering a string of powerful blows:

While the second clip shows that Malignaggi did hit the deck:

Naturally, Malignaggi wasn't best pleased with uploads, attacking both McGregor and White in a handful of Twitter posts.

Whether the full videos will be released remains to be seen, but it's not hard to tell who Malignaggi will be rooting for when the "super fight" takes place on August 26.

Here's everything we know about the Mayweather-McGregor training camps.
