Design
Where form meets function

Mercedes-Benz is presenting a new Mercedes-Maybach luxury furniture collection at Auto China 2018 in Beijing. Featuring a two and a three-seater sofa, coffee table, occasional table, lounge chairs, planters, and lamps, the assortment is designed to mimic the elaborately styled elegance of Mercedes-Maybach vehicles.

“Our brand experience of the ultimate luxury is evident in the exclusive lounge furniture collection in the form of fine materials in the colors rosé gold, white and silk beige,” says Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer of Daimler AG. “Their sensuousness and pure refinement create a timeless aesthetic for Mercedes-Maybach, our brand for the ultimate in luxury.”

Each piece of furniture adheres to Mercedes-Benz’s self-defined design philosophy of “Sensual Purity” to non-automotive objects. The standout item, the sofa, is highlighted by crystal white leather cushions, paired beautifully with a rosé gold frame. The complementary pieces welcome the same blend of materials, also combining white with rosé gold.

This particular luxury furniture collection by Mercedes-Maybach is said to be a one-off.

Earlier this month we saw Mercedes-Benz celebrating the G-Class with new exclusive models.

Not NYC, not LA.
