She's baaaaack! Surprising the world in a time where we could all use a serious pick me up, Missy Elliott has just dropped a new song and video for a single titled "I'm Better." And as much of a shock as this is, it should come as a surprise to no one that it is a non-stop funky-freak fest. Watch it above.

Part of the indelible legacy of Miss Misdemeanor are her extravagant music videos, and "I'm Better" is no exception. The visual sees Missy alternating between a dimly lit gallery and underneath a swimming pool, stunting with a squad of alien dancers and outfits that truly stretch the limits of the imagination.

"I'm Better" is the first release from Missy since the equally surprising drop of "WTF (Where They From)" featuring Pharrell way back in November of 2015. Rumors abound if she has a full-length in the works, as it has now been 12 years since she released an album proper. And if the latest single is anything to go by, we need a new Missy Elliott now more than ever.

Revisit the excellent video for "WTF" below.

In other music news, Lupe Fiasco has just dropped a new track titled "Tranquillo" featuring Rick Ross. Listen to it right here.
