Following on from their Summer styles, heavyweight coat makers since 1986, Museum, offer Winter options for those who fear the chill. Water repellant and breathable, we look at two levels of protection. The Surplus Parka, shown here in Orange and Navy, offers what the brand called 'Intermediate Protection,' cold rather than extreme weather wear, 750/800 filling power using French Mulard feather down and a racoon fur trimmed collar. If you're really expecting a turn for the painfully worse, The Seattle Parka, a 'Heavy Zone' model for freezing temperatures, the same breathable, water-repellant nylon shell with a more hardcore level of padding, in navy or burgundy.
