It’s been 25 years since Nas dropped Illmatic. Now, the legendary rapper is shifting his attention toward literature for children specifically. Today, he announced that he’ll be making his children’s book debut with I Know I Can, which takes its title from his 2002 hit “I Can.”

According to Pitchfork, the book is part of a series aimed at “empowering kids to be whatever they want to be when they grow up.” I Know I Can is illustrated by Michael Lukowski and will be available through Mass Appeal’s new MAJR (Mass Appeal Junior) children’s line soon.

Stay tuned here for more updates on the development.
