According to Kanye West and his trigger-happy Twitter fingers, Nas will be dropping a new album on June 15. This was announced in a flurry of tweets, during which West also revealed that he is “hand-producing” each of the albums he has tweeted about. This includes his own, his album with Kid Cudi, Pusha T’s, Teyana Taylor’s, and now Nas’.

Back in 2016, Yeezy famously promised Barack Obama that he would “do beats on NAS’ next album” in a since-deleted tweet. Now it seems West really has stuck to his word and we’ll be getting said album in perfect time for the summer.

In addition to tweeting about hand-producing a number of albums, West also joked that he has been “chopping samples from the Sunken Place.” What exactly that means remains to be seen.
