Still planning that warm summer vacation? Well, NASA is offering the hottest ticket around, providing you with a chance to visit the sun — sort of.

NASA invites you to submit your name online to ultimately be placed on a microchip aboard the Parker Solar Probe mission, set to launch this summer. The voyage will make its way through the sun’s atmosphere, and your name could be along for the ride.

“This probe will journey to a region humanity has never explored before,” said Thomas Zurbuchen, the associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington. “This mission will answer questions scientists have sought to uncover for more than six decades.”

The NASA spacecraft is approximately the size of a small car, as it will make its way into the Sun’s atmosphere, roughly 4 million miles from the star’s surface. The science goals for the mission are to “trace how energy and heat move through the solar corona and to explore what accelerates the solar wind as well as solar energetic particles.”

Submissions to have your name on board the Parker Solar Probe mission will be accepted until April 27. Follow here to be added to the list.
