Despite Justin Bieber continually wobbling back and forth in the good graces of the public conscious, any of his work with master-producer Diplo will remain untouchable. Their work on last year’s Grammy-winning track “Where R Ü Now” was the best contender for song of the summer. Which is why the promise of an upcoming Major Lazer song featuring the sweet coo of the Biebz is enticing, to say the least.

Diplo shared a brief snippet of the upcoming collaboration on Major Lazer’s Beats 1 radio show. The song is called “Cold Water,” and it will also feature vocals from Swedish electronic priestess MØ. She too has collaborated with Diplo in the past, on Major Lazer track “Lean On.” No official release has been set for the track or for an eventual full-length from Major Lazer, but rest assured that our attention is at the ready. Listen to the full segment below:

Stay tuned for any Justin Bieber/Diplo ear worms headed our way.

In other imminent music release news, ScHoolboy Q’s new album has been promised to arrive in the next three weeks.
