On Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. was presented with the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award by none other than Brazilian legend Ronaldo. Not only did the audacious black and gold Balmain FW17 jacket match the Brazilian’s style of play on the field, it matched his frosted tips and gold trophy as well. Neymar is known to be somewhat extra when it comes to his fashion sense (and his skills on the pitch), and the dinner jacket was hands down the most Neymar thing Neymar could have worn.

Of course, the jacket didn’t escape the notice of Twitter’s notoriously quick-witted users, most of whom had a field day with the ostentatious piece.

Neymar is currently recovering from the foot surgery he had in March, in hopes of being fit enough to represent Brazil at the FIFA World Cup in Russia. The 26-year-old was recently named in Brazil’s 23-man squad for Russia 2018.
