Visual artist Nick Smith has unveiled the followup to his debut sold-out show early last year and it features modern nudes inspired by erotic literature.

The full show, titled "Paramour," explores lust, love, and appreciation of the female form and mixes Smith's signature "colour-chip" methodology with excepts from the Bards' plays and sonnets. Alongside Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and "Venus and Adonis," are racy texts by DH Lawrence, John Cleland, EM Berens and Sarah Walters.

"Paramour" tells stories of illicit love through evocative imagery and can be checked out at the Lawrence Alkin Gallery, London.
