Following the long-awaited release of Queen, Nicki Minaj has dropped a visual for the album opener “Ganja Burn.” The orange-hued music video is directed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and brings the striking cover art to life as it depicts the riveting tale of a queen who finds the power to rise above betrayal by seeking revenge, of course. Highlights include the rapper smoking hookah in the sun-scorched desert and a group of skeletons emerging from the sand to enact a full-on resuscitation of her majesty.
Over the weekend, her Nas-assisted track “Sorry” leaked. Watch the whole narrative unfold in the enchanting video above.
