Editor’s Notes: Nike has unveiled new colorways of Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo’s Air Fear of God 1. This follows the second round of the Air Fear of God Raid and Mocs earlier this month, with the high-top silhouette dressed in eye-catching “Orange Pulse” and “Frosted Spruce” colorways.
The Air Fear of God 1 combines Lorenzo’s distinctive design style with a number of features taken from popular Nike silhouettes. The Air bubble in the heel is reminiscent of the Air Max 180’s rectangular Air window, while the lacing cage is inspired by the Air Huarache Light.
Lorenzo worked with Nike Basketball senior footwear design director Leo Chang to balance his aesthetic vision with high-performance technology. Both colorways drop through Nike US today, June 1. Stay tuned for European release information.
