The Nike x Olivier Rousteing Lookbook Is Even More Gaudy Than the Collection

In the run-up to its forthcoming collab with Balmain's Olivier Rousteing, Nike has unveiled a few new images shot by Nick Knight, showcasing the soccer-inspired collection in true gaudy Balmain style.

Not really a lookbook per se, but the various images include Rousteing standing beside some baroque furnishings with Cristiano Ronaldo (who is now apparently a high fashion muse), as well as a lavish renaissance-style landscape of models cavorting around what appears to be a golden football. Finally, there's a shot of Rousteing having a kick-about with a shimmering metallic football. Evidently subtlety is not the Balmain designer's strong point.
