Nike has published its Impact Report for FY19, in which it outlines its environmental and social impacts and targets for 2020. The report reveals how Nike aims to increase in-house diversity and reach its goal of using 100 percent renewable energy.

This year, the Swoosh heavily reflects on diversity and inclusion, community and sustainability. Highlights from its FY19 report state that Nike is on track to reaching its goal of using 100 percent renewable energy in owned or operated facilities globally by 2025. All of its North American facilities are already being powered by 100 percent renewable energy.

Other achievements include a three percent increase from 2018 in vice president-level representation of women globally, now standing at 39 percent, as well as a two percent increase in VP-level representation of underrepresented groups, now standing at 21 percent in total.

Elsewhere, Nike outlines that its Made to Play program has helped to get over 17 million children involved in community activities and trained over 10,000 coaches. Despite these achievements, Nike says it continues to reach for even greater heights. "We challenge ourselves to rise above our own standards. Just as an athlete would."

Nike has been publishing its fiscal year reports for nearly two decades now, which has become an integral part of the company's transparency. Click here to read Nike's full FY19 Impact Report.
