Editor’s Notes: Fresh off winning his second NBA Championship with the Golden State Warriors, the Swoosh officially unveils Kevin Durant‘s next signature sneaker, the Nike KD 11.

Designed by Leo Chang, who’s also responsible for designing Durant’s signature predecessors, the brand new KD 11 revolved on the idea of comfort, as the shoe feels somewhere between “a sock and a lightweight runner,” making the KD 11 as Durant’s most comfortable shoe to-date.

In addition, Leo Chang says the shoe exhibits “simplicity at first glance, but when you look closer there is depth below the surface.” For example, the remnant of a Swoosh placement from a prior model appears on the medial side.

Introduced in “Paranoid” (blue) and “Still KD” (black/white) colorways, head on over to Nike for additional details, as more iterations are expected to drop later this summer.

Up next, the Nike Air Monarch IV is perfect for summer.
