A sea of orange shoeboxes litter the floor, debris is strewn everywhere, people stand around in shock and confusion. This is not the aftermath of an earthquake or some other natural disaster; it's the bitter repercussions of another chaotic Black Friday that saw shoppers completely trash a Nike Outlet store in Seattle.

Though the promotional retail day turned over a record-breaking $3 billion in sales, it appears that many stores had to make a few sacrifices. For some, it was breaking up fights (see below tweet,) for others it was dealing with a completely trashed store. Nike had to deal with the latter.

The Swoosh participated in the Black Friday event with the releases of the KD 9 “Dark Obsidian” and Air Foamposite Pro “Dr. Doom,” but in the ensuing madness, one of its outlet locations was overturned by a large group of crazed shoppers. Videos uploaded to the internet by other customers show people carelessly crushing the boxes that protect the Nike shoes while walking through the store, mindlessly grabbing and discarding sneakers as they go.

Larry Downer, who was in the store to buy basketball sneakers for his son, couldn't believe what he witnessed. "I thought there was an earthquake that happened," he told Buzzfeed. "It was unreal."

Downer said customers, some of them children, were "kicking stuff out of the way" in the aisles, not bothering to put anything back where they found it. Take a look at some of the images and videos from social media below.
