Just over a week ago, NikeLab unveiled a bold reimagining of the ACG Air Deschutz sandal, one that sported a woven synthetic suede strap system and an entirely new Air unit in the heel. It was dubbed the Solarsoft Zigzag, and almost instantaneously became our new go-to kicks for the summer (so long sneakers!). But they were only available in black, and NikeLab knew that we needed a dose of color for the warmer weather. Which is why the brand has just unveiled new woven versions of the sandal in two bright colorways.
Building on the woven element of the sandal’s strap-system, the new iterations of the Solarsoft Zigzag incorporate this woven pattern into the entirety of the upper. But as different as it now looks, it still sits on top of the Solarsoft midsole and Air unit in the heel. The two color options for this woven version are a silvery grey and a rich blue. But considering the immense popularity of the sandal, more options may be headed our way soon.
Stay tuned for further release information regarding the NikeLab Solarsoft Zigzag’s new colors.
