NOSOMNIA might just be shy of two years old, but the Copenhagen-based menswear label, helmed by Jonas Bier and Ida Van Gaever, has established a strong, aesthetic rhythm to their recent collections.
For FW17, the design duo probe new ways of using luxe fabrics in a collection titled ‘No Strings Attached.’ In the past, the brand has played with embroidery and patchwork, but this season, they turn an aesthetic lens on unorthodox fits. There’s a maturity to their choice of a mostly clinical palette too, but a penchant for exaggerated silhouettes lends their latest drop a youthful vigor.
Standouts include heavy-duty outerwear with the brand’s inverted insignia plus monochrome knitwear in balloon-like proportions.
