Palm Angels this week opens the doors to its first flagship, located on Hong Kong’s Paterson Street, one of the most prominent shopping areas in the territory. The space, which is inspired by the archetype of the white cube art gallery, was developed by Studio April in collaboration with Palm Angels founder and creative director Francesco Ragazzi.
Per the brand, clothes are strategically placed throughout the store like pieces of art, showcased in an aseptic spatial container. The floors are constructed from polished marble, while steel furniture and white walls serve as complementary design details.
Palm Angels Hong Kong is further livened up by a painting and neon artwork by Canadian artist Thrush Holmes, in addition to an installation of safe boxes works at the back of the boutique. Passersby are drawn to the store thanks to a minimalist exterior facade with white back-lacquered glass panels and vibrant LED signs.
