In the way of eco-friendly clothing, adidas has done a great job in teaming with Parley for an innovative effort, but in comparison, Patagonia's new re\\\collection is next level.
Built with functional warmth and simplicity in mind, the new collection features a design theme of trying to use as many recycled materials as possible, including 100% recycled down, 100% recycled wool and 100% recycled polyester with 85% recycled polyester labels, 80% recycled zippers and 50% recycled buttons.
“Patagonia is distinctive because of all the environmental work that it does, and when we think about products, we think about all the environmental work before we start designing,” says Miles Johnson, Patagonia’s creative director of product design. “From the insulation to the outer materials—all the way down to the buttons and drawcords—this collection is an experiment in creativity and responsibility.”
Pieces in the collection range from $149 USD to $199 USD, and it's now available on Patagonia's official site.
