A new dating app has hit the market, but instead being for casual hookups, it's strictly for platonic friendships.
Called Patook, the app works in a similar way to Tinder. You swipe right and left on people and message once you've matched. However, it diverges from Tinder in one major way — there's no flirting allowed. Patook's algorithms detects flirty messages and doesn't send them, banning the user if they're a repeat offender — so no unwanted (or wanted) dick pics here.
Patook has been in beta for more than a year but has now had a public release.
