We can never get enough of the incredible work of Studio MK27. This month their latest penthouse project in Sao Paolo has been unveiled. The large size penthouse wins through fluidity of spaces and a very interesting open division. Large corridors lead from one part of the apartment into the other and also act as galleries for the owner's art collection. The atmosphere is as usual cozy, yet modern with a clear look back into the highlights of interior design's past. A lot of furniture has been build specifically for the apartment, while accents are set with original Brazilian, Scandinavian and Italian designs signed by Hugo França, Hans Wegner, Franco Albini, Gio Ponti among others. Especially the floor-to-ceiling shelf units in the living room impress and give the apartment, along with the heavy wood-wall-paneling, a very unique look and feel. Take a tour of the apartment in the above gallery.
