Piaget's latest creation, the Altiplano Ultimate Concept is officially the thinnest mechanical watch in the world.
Measuring at an insane 2mm thick, the manual-winding watch beats out the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra-Thin Squelette, which previously held the title, by a whole 1.6mm. To put things in perspective, the movement alone in Piaget's first Altiplano watch measured at 2mm.
Unfortunately, the watch is just a concept, so you won't be able to get your hands on it anytime soon. However, Piaget has proven that such a slim watch is a possibility, so perhaps widespread production is next on the brand's to-do list.
