Today Karl Lagerfeld unveiled the new Pirelli Calendar 2011 in Moscow. The release marks a highlight every year. Last year we reported about it as well, as it was shot by Terry Richardson. Featured in the 2011 "Mythologie" entitled calendar are Bianca Balti, Elisa Sednaoui, Freja Beha Erichsen, Isabeli Fontana, Magdalena Frackowiak , Anja Rubik, Abbey Lee Kershaw , Lakshmi Menon, Heidi Mount (Aurora, Amphitrite), Erin Wasson, Natasha Poly, Daria Werbowy, Iris Strubegger, Sebastien Jondeau, Garret Neff, and Jake Davis.

"Lagerfeld photographed models in his Paris studio for the coveted calendar, with each one posing as a different deity from ancient Rome and Greece.

The calendar consists of 36 black-and-white images of 15 female models and 5 male models. Actress Julianne Moore is also photographed as Hera, the wife of Zeus."

After the jump we can show you some first images of the calendar, with more to follow soon.
