Bringing together a mix of transparent and opaque structuring, this home designed by Tel Aviv-based design studio Pitsou Kedem uses concrete slabs and frameless windows to offer varying degrees of privacy - straying between the two materials as the visitor strays between the structure itself. Suitably named A Concrete Cut, the abstract design sits nestled in the Israeli city of Ramat Gan and offers seclusion from the street facing side while opening up at the back for a more open space that evokes a modernist aesthetic.
Pitsou Kedem is no stranger to the use of these mediums, just take a look at this design in Haifa's historic French Carmel neighbourhood. Meanwhile, peep inside the designers personal space here.
