Post Malone is facing backlash for going through with his sold-out arena show in Denver, as many artists continue to cancel their tours amid mounting concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

As scheduled, Post played his sold-out show at the 18,000-capacity Pepsi Center in Denver on Thursday, March 12. Ahead of the concert, the venue had Tweeted the status of the show, saying, “Tonight’s Post Malone concert at Pepsi Center is proceeding as scheduled. We continue to monitor the current COVID-19 situation with local, state and federal authorities.”

With the current state of the pandemic, many performers have taken the extra precaution to cancel their upcoming shows, including Billie EilishStormzy and BTS. However, Post’s decision to continue his tour has sparked controversy, with many people taking to Twitter to air their criticism.
