It goes without saying that Post Malone loves beer. Aside from naming his second album Beerbongs & Bentleys and dropping beer-related verses like “Sippin’ Bud Light, that’s the new Goose,” last year, after his private plane made an emergency landing, the first thing that Malone requested was “a beer.” It comes as no surprise then that the rapper’s latest collab is in fact with Posty’s favorite beer brand, Bud Light.
The line is Post Malone to the core. The range of accessories, sweatpants, and hoodies was designed following Post Malone’s own design concept and evoke the artist’s signature wacky style. Speaking to Vogue, Post revealed his mythological inspirations, saying “I told them I was super interested in mythological shit, and then that’s where the dragon and the sword and everything all came into play. There’s so many different ways to recreate those creatures of the past that people talked about, and legends, and make them your own.” The imagery also borrows from Malone’s tattoos and his lyrics, which are scrawled across some items.
Posty’s Bud Light collaboration will be available at a New York City pop up on August 4 and 5, and then online, with prices ranging from $10 to $250.
