Before Austin Post became Post Malone, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, he worked at a fried chicken shop in his hometown of Southlake, Texas as a teenager. Things have obviously changed quite a bit for the now 24-year-old musician, but he continues to remember where he came from, no matter how many hit singles he racks up.
Subsequently, Post recently surprised customers at the Chicken Express restaurant he once worked at by giving away his latest Crocs collaboration. Those who ordered the Posty Special were given a box of chicken, fries, and a free pair of Post Malone x Crocs Duet Max Clogs.

Although Post himself wasn’t present for the event, hundreds of fans lined the parking lot in order to get the free Crocs. Press play above for a glimpse at what went down.
Before he was a superstar #PostMalone was just a kid named Austin serving up chicken at #ChickenExpress in @CityofSouthlake this is why he is gifting @Crocs to hundreds of his fans here today. FYI, “Posty” is not here. @CBSDFW pic.twitter.com/8gUk2KFKSM
