Since Post Malone dropped his new song “rockstar” in September, fans have been anxiously awaiting a music video that visually matches its infectious energy. This weekend, the rapper shared an “unofficial” video for his number one hit single featuring 21 Savage, with grainy visuals of his concerts and behind-the-scenes footage.

Shortly after Post shared the video for “rockstar,” the song officially achieved Platinum status by the RIAA, meaning 1 million plus equivalent album units have been earned.

“rockstar” is the first single off Post Malone’s forhcoming album Beerbongs & Bentleys. Although no official release date has been announced, Genius reports it’s expected to arrive Friday, November 24 and will feature Justin Bieber, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, and Kanye West.
