The 2018/19 NBA season is in full swing, and to celebrate, Public School joined forces with New Era for an exclusive “PSNY x The League” capsule featuring a series of caps commemorating ten of the NBA’s most recognizable franchises, including the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Utah Jazz, and Philadelphia 76ers.

PSNY founders Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow said in a statement, “We’ve collaborated with the NY Knicks in the past but never the entire league. We wanted to look at all the cities and teams and play off the force of the collective. We imagined ‘The League’ as not only the home to all these athletically gifted stars but a training ground for them to transition from great players to great leaders.”

Adding, “The collaboration aligned with the idea of Lebron’s More Than Athlete campaign. The NBA can stretch beyond basketball, be a platform for change, and help bring people together.”

Public School also offers a limited upcycled sweatshirt line made from vintage dealers, to continue the brand’s work to offer sustainable garments. Earlier this summer, PSNY unveiled an upcycled collection with Nike, Levi’s, Alpha Industries and more.

The sweatshirts are available exclusively at PSNY’s flagship 3 Howard Street location in New York City, while the hats can be purchased on Public School’s online store and retail store as well. The hats are priced at $75.

Previously, Public School debuted an NYC taxi cab-inspired Mi electric scooter.
