New York fashion label Public School, aka PSNY, has linked up with Polo Ralph Lauren collector Ezra Wine to pay tribute to the label’s iconic place in street culture.
Titled “LO & BEHOLD,” the space includes over 100 pieces of Polo and its various sub-lines, ranging from 1988-1994, and are arranged into three spaces designed to reflect a typical teenage bedroom of the era.
Ralph Lauren’s Polo line is one of the most influential labels in street culture, and it’s safe to say that streetwear wouldn’t be what it is today without Ralph and his iconic pony emblem. PSNY has linked with longtime ’Lo head Ezra Wine as a way of acknowledging its influence on Public School’s work and street culture at large.
The exhibition runs until November 1, 2018 — be sure to stop by if you’re in NYC’s Chinatown district.
