Today, at the brand’s quarterly summit at its global HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany, PUMA is announcing another reboot of an archival ’80s sneaker, the PUMA RS-X Cubed.
The PUMA RS-X Cubed offers a maximalist aesthetic by reworking modern PUMA performance sensibilities into an old-school design. Making use of the brand's patented RS tech, the technical-looking silhouette retains the evergreen appeal of mesh, suede, and smooth leather on the upper, with textured nodes from the upper to the midsole creating a distinctive effect.
We have only been privy to this first glimpse of the PUMA RS-X Cubed so far, but we can look forward to a release date near the end of 2019, with at least two colorways coming: "White/Lime Punch" and "Black/Hot Coral."
