PUMA's Thunder Spectra is the latest sneaker to be teased from the iconic brand, riffing off the current times' preference for chunky silhouettes and the label's own history of performance innovation.

PUMA has, of course, been doing this kind of work for years, with its collaboration with the late Alexander McQueen for its legendary McQ range stretching back to 2005. The Thunder Spectra pays homage to that work, and in particular silhouettes like the Tech Runner Low.

The Thunder Spectra's bulky form, its extravagant and bold swipes of '90s-era color pops, and its expanded molded TPU midsole and combination of mesh and premium nubuck in the upper mean its a sneaker to watch.

PUMA's Thunder Spectra made its way to some of our favorite stores and buyers around the world. Check out Footpatrol's thoughts on the shoe here, and a round up of how others styled it below.
