Located in the Cangshan International Golf Community of Dali in China, is the stellar Pure House Boutique Hotel designed by local firm, Yueji Architectural Design Office. Offering serene views of the Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, the establishment offers excellent geomantic culture, as well exposure to the beautiful natural landscape in any direction.

With the building essentially blended in the site to integrate with nature harmoniously, the structure creates a unique spatial experience based on a series of narrative spaces. Only 13 guest rooms are featured the hotel and each coordinates with the open scenery. The whole interior spatial scale is wide and open, which brings the guests comfortable living experience. Integration of planning, investment, construction and operation results in the controllability and meticulous service also enhances the living quality.

The use of materials in the Pure House also defines its aesthetic, as the main part is coarse bare concrete, while the addition of wooden grating and wooden frames form a balance of natural and man-made elements. Moreover, the overall color is very restrained, without the feeling of its being abrupt from the plush green landscape.

Furthermore, the temperature and humanity brought from the narrative space in the Pure House is the focal point, which represents the missed humanity value in the functionalism design, responses to nature and merges into the natural surroundings with a gentle manner.
